Fabrication and Applications of 2D Few-Layer Antimonene: An Overview
Antimonene, a two-dimensional material, was originally testified in the year 2015. Its distinctive features, like superior carrier mobility, increased constancy plus band gap tenability, were academically projected. Such theoretic findings inspire experimental validation, allowing us a greater perception of this novel material. Antimonene's generation and attempted usage in a variety of applications have recently received a lot of attention. The outcomes of current research upon original techniques for fabricating antimonene plus prospective usage in energy storage, optoelectronic instruments, cancer therapy and electro-catalysis are included in this article. The nanolayers of this two-dimensional material are exceptionally stable under ambient environments. Furthermore, this overview gives information that might help to enhance antimonene preparation and discusses a variety of applications. Finally, concluding with the challenges and opportunities in fabrication and applications of Antimonene.
