Numerical Simulation and Length Scale Calibration of Micropolar Hypoplastic Model
A new micropolar hypoplastic model is developed with a complex tensor formulation. The model is implemented in a finite element code to simulate plane strain tests. The relationship between shear band width and internal length is studied, which can be used to calibrate of the length scale in the micropolar hypoplastic model.
