A New Approach for Fair Loss Allocation in Radial Distribution Networks with Various Types of Distributed Generators
Abstract In this paper, a new scheme for power loss allocation in radial distribution network with distributed generators is proposed. A new bus identification scheme is used to execute load flow and to implement the loss allocation method with the distributed generators modeled as negative constant power loads. The loss allocation results for both 9-bus and 33-bus radial distribution networks with various types of distributed generators are presented and compared with the results of proportional sharing and quadratic loss allocation technique.
