Abstract Dublin, Ohio, outside of Columbus, is the quintessential suburban success story. Although its small village core was established in the nineteenth century, Dublin today is the product of the explosive suburban growth that accompanied urban decline elsewhere. It grew from a village of just over 600 in 1970 to a city of over 45,000 in 2015, with an employment base today of more than 50,000 workers.
