Effect of solution composition on selectivity of reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes
Abstract Effect of nature and concentration of coions on selectivity of reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes for target components—heavy metal cations—has been investigated. Features and differences of heavy metal separation mechanisms in reverse osmosis and nanofiltration are discussed.
