Photochromic Coatings
Abstract Photochromism is a part of photochemistry dealing with reversible photochemical reactions. Photochromism was first reported by Fritsche in 1867 [1], who observed that tetracene with air and light produced a colorless material which regenerated to tetracene by heating. Since its discovery, photochromism has received considerable attention and it is still an active field of basic and applied research.
