Commissioning
Proper commissioning of building systems, and especially fire protection systems, is critical in very tall buildings. This chapter discusses how to verify that the owner’s requirements have been met; the building and its systems have been constructed as designed; all systems and features are functioning as intended; the owner has been provided with the required documentation regarding the operation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of the building; and building personnel have been properly trained to operate and maintain the building.
