New Technological Solutions for High-Temperature Non-Catalytic Purification of Flue Gases from Nitrogen Oxides1
The paper describes the technological solutions for improving the efficiency of selective non-catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides and minimizing the formation of secondary pollutants when implementing the process using thermal generating units. The advantages of a two-stage versus a single-stage process have been experimentally confirmed. A new principle for controlling the two-stage process is proposed.
