Morphology Dynamics of Polymer Blends and Block Copolymer Melts
Abstract Polymer melt systems present some novel features for theorists and experimentalists concerned with dynamics of ordering processes 1,2. First of all, slowness of the process permits studies of the entire stage of kinetics including the early linear stage. Secondly, many different kinds of polymer systems like blends of homopolymers, block copolymers of all sorts, liquid crystal polymers etc. show a variety of ordered phase structures and hence ordering kinetics. Finally, complexity of chain dynamics presents challenging theoretical problems which still remain to be solved.
