Abstract In parallel with old Mediterranean civilizations, Eastern-European civilizations were formed. In the areas of Eastern Europe, where woods were growing abundantly, marshy soils and heavier conditions for settlement occurred, structures were generally built in wood, including prestigious structures. Unfortunately, there are few historical records on this subject. The first information is to be found in the texts by modern historians.
