Green Sustainable Regional Development and Digital Era
The research paper aims to underline that the sustainable and green economic development is the process by which a nation improves the economic, political, and social well-being of its people. It starts with the reality that each country faces challenges in the sustainable and balanced economic development of its territory, keeping their territory healthy at the same time. The research finds out that new development projects tend to rely on sustainability, wasting of current energy, and promoting the green; however, the national economic level still faced inequalities in the levels of development of the regions. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that regional development is moving to the next stage: smart cities using artificial intelligence, financing regional development through blending finance, and secure financial services and banking transfers using digital financial system, Blockchain, to ensure a clean sustainable development.
