Determination of the most economical spacing of cooling coils for concrete massess
Conclusions 1. For conditions similar to those prevailing at the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric plant, the spacing 1.5×3 m of the cooling pipes is the most economical one. 2. The spacing 3×1.5 m may ensure maintenance of the temperature regime during the hardening of the mix in the main concrete mass. 3. The cost of the cooling water decreases as the spacing of the pipes is increased.
