Human Error in Structural Reliability Recent Research Results
Abstract This short contribution reviews some preliminary results of recent research findings related to the assessment of the importance of human error on the reliability of engineering structures. The literature on human error and human reliability is briefly reviewed and some research results for errors made in design processes such as in table-look-up, calculation and ranking of numbers are given.
