A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Tables
The tables presented in this chapter are auxiliary tools for professional engineers and architects, and students engaged in the reinforced and prestressed concrete design of buildings and other infrastructure concrete elements. The design tables, elaborated according to the EC2 rules, are applied to the design and safety verification to the ultimate limit state of reinforced and prestressed concrete cross-sections of beams and columns subjected to bending and axial force. The advantage of the tables is the accuracy in the design and verification of structural concrete sections with the information about the ductility behavior, the economic and practical construction aspects, and the prompt availability of a set of solutions to decide on.
