DETERMINING THE TENSILE SOFTENING DIAGRAM OF CONCRETE-LIKE MATERIALS USING HYBRID OPTIMISATION
Abstract This contribution aims at determining the material parameters tensile strength, fracture energy and the shape of the tensile softening diagram (TSD) for some types of concrete used in Civil Engineering by an inverse finite element (FE) analysis of three point bending (TPB) tests on notched specimens. As an extension to the bilinear approximation of the TSD a multilinear approximation is adopted as the basis of the analysis.
