The term urban regeneration indicates an integrated vision that allows the resolution of urban problems and an improvement in economic, physical, social and environmental conditions of an area prone to transformation. This document aims to describe the importance of interdisciplinarity in spatial planning and, in particular, for urban regeneration processes. The relationship between the parts that make up the society and its urban pattern, between the public and private entities that determine and transform it.
