High-octane additives for automobile gasoline based on С1 and С2 alcohols and butane–divinyl fraction from the pyrolysis process
Abstract Coalkylation of the the butane-divinyl pyrolysis fraction with C1 and C2 monohydroc alcohols has been studied. The product composition of the alkylation has been determined. It has been shown that the products can be used as high-octane components of motor gasoline along with methyl tert-butyl ether, tert-amyl methyl ether, and other oxygenates.
