Thermal Cycling Treatment as a Structural Strengthening Technique for Healthcare Construction
The paper explores the interrelation between magnetic parameter Hp and initial microstructure of 08 ps and 09G2S structural steels under exposure to thermal cycling treatment. Magnetic amplitude Hp is found to reduce within the first three cycles of the thermal processing, while the reduction ratio of the initial microstructure is found to increase regardless of its initial state. An increase in the number of processing cycles to more than three leads to a significant decrease in the reduction ratio in the fine-grained materials under consideration. It is expedient to use passive fluxgate control to monitor steels’ fine-grain structure in manufacturing conditions.
