Operating Speed Model of Freeway in High Altitude Areas
According to the research of vehicle performance in plateau under low pressure and oxygen deficient environment, the dynamic performance of motor vehicles in high-altitude areas decreases by 7–8% when altitude increases 1,000 m, which indicates that the vehicle dynamic performance in high altitude areas is mainly affected by the highway vertical section alignment.
