The Use of Epoxy Resin in the Repair of Cracked Wooden Structural Elements
The present study deals with the repair of cracked wooden structural elements using 3PHV60 resin. Cracks can cause a reduction in the load-bearing capacity of wooden structural elements. The applicability of reinforcing cracked timber structural members with epoxy resin is discussed in this article. The effectiveness of reinforcement with epoxy resin was studied using fracture tests.
