Conclusions 1. Use of methods of mathematical statistics make it possible to obtain an objective criterion to estimate the accuracy of equations used to determine the Chezy coefficient. 2. Of all the empirical and semiempirical equations considered, I. I. Agroskin's semiempirical equation is the most accurate. The accuracy of the calculation and the simplicity of the structure provide the basis for us to recommend it as the basic equation in hydraulic computations.
