Three-Dimensional Linear Flow of Finite Length with Uniform Intensity Distribution Along Length
A steady-state potential flow caused by a three-dimensional linear discharge of finite length situated in an unbounded space filled with an ideal incompressible liquid is examined. Analytical relations are derived for the equipotentials, streamlines, and velocities. It is demonstrated that this flow satisfies the potentiality and continuity conditions of flow.
