Multicriteria Assessment of Sustainable Intelligent Buildings
Abstract This paper presents a multicriteria assessment model for evaluating the sustainable performance of intelligent buildings. Interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are used for representing the subjective and imprecise assessments of the decision makers in evaluating the relative importance of the criteria and the sustainable performance of individual intelligent buildings. An effective algorithm is developed based on the concept of ideal solutions for calculating the overall closeness coefficient value for each intelligent building across all criteria. An example is presented for demonstrating the applicability of the multicriteria assessment model for dealing with sustainable performance evaluation of intelligent building problem.
