Selected unrealized projects by Michael Balz, mostly in collaboration with Heinz IslerIsler, Heinz as advisor for construction and engineering, are described and related to development of the built shells and competition entries. Projects include proposals for a leisure pool roof at the Tropicana, LucerneTropicana, Lucerne (1979), an atelier and office building for Willi Bösiger AGWilli Bösiger AG Langenthal, Switzerland (1986) and Shell of PeaceShell of Peace, at the Heliopolis University, CairoHeliopolis University, Cairo, Egypt (2016).
