Deformation Modulus of Plastic-Frozen Soil According to Pile Testing
The article discusses the problem of rational design of bases and foundations on permafrost soils. Despite the regulatory recommendations for determining the deformation parameters of soils according to the data of full-scale static tests of piles, no standard for such determination exists. The paper presents a method for processing data from full-scale static tests of piles based on theoretical analysis and a comprehensive interpretation of the results of compression tests of plastic-frozen soils.
