Construction Techniques used at Cern for the Lep Project
Abstract The Large Electron Positron (LEP) machine was selected by the European Committee for Future Accelerators (ECFA) in the 1970’s as the machine best suited to achieving the next step forward in high-energy physics research. LEP is a natural forerunner to the Superconducting Super Collider, having a similar layout and operating strategy.
