Layer-by-layer kinematic similitude in plane turbulent flows
This paper demonstrates for the first time that certain dimensionless characteristics established for a fully developed plane turbulent flow also hold true for the near-wall layer of this flow, if its thickness is appreciably greater than that of a viscous sublayer.
