Hydraulic Studies in Support of the Construction of a Stepped Spillway at The Boguchany Hydroelectric Power Plant
Hydraulic studies are made in support of the construction of a stepped spillway at the Boguchany Hydroelectric Power Plant with a height of 81.5 m and a step height of 1.5 m designed for a specific discharge rate of up to 45 m2/sec. The flow and energy loss parameters and the hydrodynamic effect of the flow on a step are determined. These discharge flows are realized in full-scale test.
