This chapter deals with the application of European wind loading code EN 1991-1-4 as well as experimental techniques to determine wind loads on buildings. The general outline of EN 1991-1-4 is presented, and the procedure how to come to a wind load on structures is presented. Situations for which wind tunnel or full scale experiments are useful are described and the basic principles for these experiments are given.
