Computer-Aided Simulation of Railway Insert for Defect Analysis and Yield Improvement
Prestressed concrete sleepers and rail track are connected through Railway Insert, a component made up of spheroidal graphite cast iron (SGCI). Foundries are searching new approaches to achieve the highest quality of SGCI Railway Insert with yield improvement. The demand of achieving high-quality casting with yield improvement within a specified time frame in a cost-effective manner can use computer-aided simulation technology. In this paper, study of Railway Insert for casting defect and its scientific analysis for yield improvement is done by using computer-aided simulation software.
