Electrochemical protection on the Kislogub tidal power station
Conclusions 1. Electrochemical protection can be used for corrosion protection of hydropower turbine blading in sea water. 2. Electrochemical protection does not reduce the antigrwoth action of paint systems. 3. Nonautomatic cathodic protection of the reinforcement in reinforced concrete is not recommended, on account of the rapid spontaneous negative displacement of the potentials towards hydrogen liberation potentials. 4. In addition to providing reliable operation of the protection, catostatic regulation of cathodic protection units substantially improves their economic working.
