Protection of earth slopes against destruction from wind waves
Conclusions 1. The design, construction, and operation experience and the results of scientific investigations of slope revetments provide sufficient data for substantiating the values and characteristics of the wave action on revetments and soil foundations in slopes of hydraulic structures. 2. The main tasks in further scientific research and design should be the development of new, more economical types of revetments, the elaboration of techniques for constructing slope revetments, and the introduction of wide mechanization for this type of labor-consuming work.
