Shakedown of Elastic-Plastic Structures with Non Linear Kinematical Hardening by the Bipotential Approach
Abstract In this paper, we study the shakedown behaviour of elastic plastic material with non-linear kinematical hardening rule. The behaviour law taken into account is shown to be a non-associated one. For this purpose, the implicit non-standard material model is introduced through the bipotential approach. After some remarks on the theoretical aspects, an analytical example of a thin walled tube under constant traction and alternating torsion is given as an application and compared with previous results. The obtained solution is proved to be exact.
