Suggestions on the Intelligent City Construction and Promotion in China
Abstract On September, 30, 2013, President Xi Jinping pointed out that, ‘a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform will form historic intersection with the development means of quickened transformation of economy in the near future that will provide a precious major opportunity to realize innovation-spurred development strategies.’ City intelligence building is a major opportunity to innovation-spurred advancement that can fend off issues incurred by ‘smart city’ building recommended by international IT titan. Therefore, it is suggested that we initiatively seize upon big trend and opportunities of global city intelligence, take city intelligence building as a basic platform for new urbanization, upgraded industrialization and in-depth informationization, as major basis to realize new regional development, as major seizure for economic and social development and progress of city civilization and potent force to realize ‘Chinese dream’.
