Reliability Analysis of Slope Reinforced by Anchors under Earthquake Action
This study established a dynamic slope stability calculation model using the horizontal slice method, and obtained the limit state equation. The reliability index and failure probability of the slope were calculated using the checkpoint method. Then, the reliability and stability of the slope were calculated using the Geo-Studio finite element software. The results obtained by the proposed method were compared with the results obtained by Monte Carlo simulation and analyzed. Thus, it was found that the reliability decreased and the failure probability significantly increased as the peak seismic acceleration increased. There is no definite correspondence between the failure probability and the safety factor. Therefore, the proposed calculation method is reasonable and reliability analysis can better reflect the actual stability of a slope under seismic action.
