Key Technologies for Continuous Crossing of Air Shaft with Large Diameter Shield Tunnels
Shield tunnel construction has changed the state of the original ground layer, inevitably causing disturbance to the soil and causing surface settlement, causing certain damage to the surrounding environment. Crossing buildings and structures has always been a major challenge in shield tunneling construction, and previous studies have conducted extensive research on this topic. However, research on large diameter shield tunneling machines crossing circular air shafts in China is still in a vacuum stage. Therefore, how to improve the adaptability of the shield tunneling machine and control the construction process when the shield tunneling machine crosses the air shaft, reduce the disturbance to the air shaft structure, and ultimately achieve smooth crossing is an urgent problem that needs to be solved.
