Modeling the Normal Water-Energy Operating Modes of Hydraulic Power Equipment in Pumped Storage Power Plants Considering Maneuverability Indicators
This article describes the development of a calculation model for simulating the normal water-energy operating modes of hydropower equipment in pumped storage power plants (PSPPs). The designed model considers maneuverability indicators and the typical characteristics of the equipment and reservoirs of PSPPs. The model can also simulate specific PSPP load schedules and facilitate load distribution among hydraulic units that share identical energy characteristics considering their operational status.
