Groundwater Basin Response: Simulation with Mathematical Model
Mathematical models are extensively used to assess the response of complex groundwater systems under different operating conditions. A proper verification and validation is needed to ensure that the model can be used successfully for prediction of aquifer response. A systematic model testing and validation procedure is illustrated for a quasi-three-dimensional model applied for simulating response of a multi-aquifer system.
