Born 14 July 1937 in Annecy, a former pupil of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Arts Décoratifs and a landscape architect qualified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Corajoud first worked in collaboration with Jacques Simon from 1964 to 1966, then from 1966 to 1975 in association with AUA (City Planning and Architecture Workshop) where he formed an urban landscape team with Henri Ciriani and Bmja Huidobro. Since 1975, he has worked in association with landscape architect Claire Corajoud. From 1971, he was a professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage, Versailles. He was silver medalist (with Claire Corajoud) of the Académie d' Architecture ‘Architecture d' accompagnement’ in 1985 and the winner of the 1992 National Award for Landscape Architecture. In 1999, he received the Ruban d' Argent for the covering of the Autoroute du Nord at Saint-Denis and was made Chevalier de l' Ordre National du Merite.
