The Millau Viaduct: Ten Years of Structural Monitoring
The Millau viaduct’s monitoring and instrumentation system was designed by a team of experts already involved in structural engineering of the bridge. With the client they set objectives and priorities. Data management, system monitoring and maintenance were also examined. After describing the monitiring program, the results are presented for the first few operating years of the structure.
