Compressive strength of cement stabilized pressed earth blocks
Most codes on earthwall construction have a minimum compressive strength requirement. Kevan Heathcote of the University of Technology, Sydney acknowledges that there is no suitable method for predicting compressive strength of blocks on the manufacturing process and material constituents and sets out to examine the various factors influencing the compressive strength of cement stabilized, pressed earth blocks and to formulate a method for predicting strength based on these factors. Experimental data are used to correlate the model.
