GeRiCI: Gestion des Risques liés au changement Climatique pour les Infrastructures
Climate change, resulting in more intense events, is affecting the real risk level of infrastructures linked to meteorological phenomenon (precipitation, wind…) and is challenging some design rules for infrastructure. Moreover, climate change seems to be developping in neither a uniform nor a linear pattern. In response to this risk development and the difficulty to foresee the climatic data modifications, the GeRiCI program offers transportation owners help in managing the risks related to climate change. Its purpose consists in leading a methodological reflection about main risks factors and relevant criteria, in working out a GIS based risk management tool which allows the owners to identify the more vulnerable areas of the infrastructure and take action in time, and in proposing standard palliative measures against identified risks.
