Evaluation et amélioration des performances environnementales d'un bâtiment tertiaire en exploitation
The main part of environmental impacts due to public buildings lies in the use phase. The purpose of this study was the development of an operational environmental assessment method used to evaluate as well as improve the environmental quality of public buildings in use. We present the method and the results of its application for 2 schools. Our method uses benchmarking assessment and multicriteria analyses. The main goal is to dispose of an operational method for evaluating environmental performances of a public building, in order to operate a retro feed back towards users and managers. Results clearly set that a green building has better performances than a regular building, with same uses, but that without an adapted environmental management, the green building qualities are wasted.
