Subjectivity and Objectivity in Human Decision
In human sciences subjective data must be considered as well as objective data. For objective data, which can be deterministic or probabilistic, the theory is established and well known. The use of fuzzy set theory for subjective data is only about 15 years old, but its use is now extensive. More recently researchers tried and found several ways to combine objectivity and subjectivity by the use of better models. Hybrid numbers and probabilistic sets are new tools for scientists in human science. Association between randomness and fuzziness is promising.
