Comportement d'une dalle pare-blocs structurellement dissipante
This article is about protective structures against rocks falls. A new concept of rock-shed protection (Structurally Dissipating Rock-shed) is presented: it consists of a reinforced concrete slab supported by specific fuse supports. The dissipation of the impact energy is realized directly by the damage of the slab or fuse supports and either in an embankment of ground, as it was the case in the classical rock-shed. This structure is led to be repair when it will receive an impact of strong intensity but of weak occurrence. On the other hand the structure should not be dimensioned under static loading but under dynamic loading. An experimental campaign on a reduced slab was carried out in order to valid working and repair principle. The analysis of the various sensors shows that the slab has perfectly dissipated the impact energy of the block and that it is damaged by two main modes: by punching during the contact between the block and the slab and by bending being able to involve the plastification of reinforcements.
