Impacts of socio-economic development on residential water demand
The increasing demand for water has created a need for evaluating the factors affecting water consumption and the methods to conserve water. This study examines the effect of socio-economic factors on residential water consumption in Kuwait. Relationships are developed that describe the impact of four socio-economic parameters on the average per capita water consumption. Water conservation methods are then suggested.
