A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
A novel method is suggested for assessing the visual impact of proposed buildings. It involves the accurate placing of the buildings perspective onto an unaltered oblique photograph of the existing environment. How to find scales and vanishing points of a photograph and how to compute perspectives' co-ordinates within such a photograph on a programmable calculator is outlined in the Appendix.
