Studies of strengths of stabilized laterite blocks and rendering mortars
Detailed findings of a laboratory study at BRRI are presented in a country that in 1970 had 83% of all houses countrywide being of mud or stabilized soil. The rate of the introduction of stabilized soil techniques is slow and it is anticipated that the data presented will speed up this process from the low level of 5% mentioned in the 1970 census.
