Needle Point Cloud is a series of framed, computationally embroidered architectural drawings that explore the aesthetics of computerized needlepoint and its power in the production of architectural representation. Using information collected from point clouds, I seek to materialize ephemeral datasets through topological embroidery in Needle Point Cloud, exploring the criticality of this feminine craft by depicting memorable neoclassical and modern architectural landmarks in Iowa.
