    This paper includes a three dimensional modeling of the construction of tunnels in urban area. In the first part, we present the numerical model which involves two parameters for the description of the partial unloading induced by tunneling. The second part includes an application of this model on the analysis of the construction of a lined tunnel in a sandy soil. The last part deals with the determination of parameters used in the numerical model.
